Same as most of rest, does indeed have a quite odd accent, called after 6 pm local time I'm in SE MI. Looks like the pranksters/ scammers got a new job this year(Jan. 7 1st entry here). Are'nt  calls like this considered disturbing the peace offenses, amongst other offenses? If not why not? Why aren't disturbing threatening calls like this cracked down on ever, or at least more often? This is almost as irritating as the "PC repair man" from seemingly way deep inside India, who has called our res. line ph. no. a few times AFTER being told not to!!! Dear 800notes.com; needs "call type" option of "probable scam" as a further help! THANKS 800NOTES !!!

"David Gray" with a very strange sounding accent just called and actually left me a voicemail!  Woohoo!  He said that he was calling to warn me of pending legal trouble with the US Department of Treasury.  Suuuuuure, "David Gray".

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
