There is some one to report it to.   Go on the do not call registry  website and there is a place to submit fraudulent calls.  it goes right to the government and they will check it out.  report all of the calls that are doing this to you .  whether They say they are the IRS  or some kind of mediation Service or whoever please report them so we can get rid of the stupid stuff

Has been calling every 2 days for about a year asking for a name ive never heard before.  Even after calling and telling them to take me off their call list.  I usually get called by this number but ive gotten a few other numbers saying the same exact thing

I got a call and actually talked to a lady, when she called she told me the last 4 of my social, then asked me to confirm.  I said I don't give out my social over the phone.  So she says well I have the whole thing.  So I said "there ya go, you have it, now what do you want."
She told me she had a claim against me from a company I nevef heard of, then she said we can take action against you with your employer.  When she told me the company I worked for.  I chuckled to myself and said go for it.  I immediately knew it was a scam, I haven't worked at that company in 11 years, plus it's over 7 years, she can't legally collect. I told her you're fraud scammer, then she tried talking over me.  Yeah that happening, so I hung up and blocked the caller.

I received a call from 725-333-7677 about a claim against me from core resolution but asked to call back 216-359-7718.  The message was so fast, I had to listen several times.
