Craigslist scammer.  will only text never calls but same thing...paypal, blah, blah, blah.  

Thanks for the heads up.  I just got a text from this number asking if I still have an item I had listed on craigslist.  I just responded "I don't sell to scammers. Try someone dumber than me. I only sell local."  Why does the scum of the earth seem to respond to all my craigslist postings!?!

I posted an item today and received a text message from this person asking if I still had the item and if I could hold it for them until they send me a cashier's check for the asking price plus $10.  They kept asking for my name and address of where to send the check to.  I asked them to do PayPal, but they said the certified check was more comfortable for them.   I said I didn't like to give out my home address to strangers and they said to give them any address.  So I gave them the work address for someone I know in law enforcement.  :)

So they went so far as to send a check to the law enforcement office.  Surprise, surprise - it's for WAY over what they were supposed to send me.  They told me to cash the check and send them the extra.  I wasn't born yesterday!  Turned this one over to the Federal Authorities.
