This person has contacted me from a craigslist ad about myself selling my car . Requesting only paypal transactions . It is a scam

Yes Definitely a scam! They wanted to buy my car $19,000 via paypal without ever seeing it or talking to me directly.
I just received 3 text messages from this # 724-252-7591. Definitely a SCAM. I have received numerous text from various numbers, but they all say the same thing--exactly.
"Hello, Is this still available for sale? If yes get back to me immediately and my questions are: are you the first owner and what is your last asking price Thanks and hope to read from you soon"

This number 724-252-7591 also requested to purchase my car and wanted to pay through pay pal, when I told them that I would only take cash in person, tey replied back that they weren't able to personally pick up the car and would have someone pick the car up for them, I then replied that I would gladly except a western union, which they have all over the country, and never got a reply back. So i agree with you 100% this person is a scammer I also text them back and let them know that i reported them never heard a word from em lol

yes they tried to scam me too we need to put a stop to these idiots

Same story with this number only it was an add on craigslist for a horse.  Texted us the same story only added that he was a marine out at sea and he was buying it for an uncle.  He refused to tell us where the horse was going or what it would be used for and that he would arrange for transport as soon as we gave him our paypal account. The person on the other end of this number was very demanding.  Anyone buying a horse knows you don't buy one sight unseen.  Now he is impersonating a marine how low can you get.
