Left no message.

This unknown caller somehow overrode the number of rings before it went to voicemail....

Got a call from this number today (6/9/2017) at around Noon.  Caller ID showed up as "Out of area 1-720-943-9860".  I don't answer calls from any number I don't recognize or that isn't in my phone's address book; so I let it roll thru to voice mail.  Whoever it was didn't leave any message.  Added the number to my phone's Call Block List to stop any future calls.

I just received this call.  The man said he was with the Colorado Police Benefits organization and wanted to know if I would donate.  I told him no because I was leaving the state.  He asked if I would be comfortable with giving a $10 donation.  I said, "I suppose I could give a $10.  How do I send it??"  He again asked:  "Would you be comfortable giving a $10 donation?"  I remembered reading about a telephone scam.  THEY get you to respond with a YES answer and they are able to use it out of context to steal your money.  I said, "NO I would not feel comfortable!!" and hung up.
