Called about "complaints filed against you" from number 720-623-0253. Listed call back number as 877-374-3563.  These are bottom-feeder debt collectors trying to collect on an old, taken care or, debt, or debt that is beyond the statute of limitations. They will claim it is valid debt when it is not. They have your name and last 4 of SS number. They probably have an old address too. They WILL NOT listen to reason and they are VERY RUDE. They use scare tactics to get money from you, like threats of sending law enforcement and of taking you to court. They NEVER do anything but call. What they are doing is illegal and they will call back again and again from different phone numbers and leave different call back numbers and messages. They call family members, which is illegal.  They will NOT mail you anything about the debt, which is illegal. They will NOT listen to you without interrupting and insulting you. They will NOT take down a new address. They will ignore requests to not call you anymore and only deal with you through the mail.  Hang up when they call and DO NOT call them back. You cannot reason with them, and they will keep calling you back. They sometimes block the callerID name and number.  They will lie about who they are.  Other related numbers they have used in the recent past (2016) 888-731-2096, 844-327-5711, 888-423-5149, 855-904-7785, 888-423-5155, 888-423-6064, 720-623-0253.

Called looking for someone whose name I don't recognize.  It's an automated message stating that "complaints have been filed against you" and to press 1 in order to speak to a person, but didn't tell me the name of their company/organization.  Pressing 1 only put me on hold, then the call was disconnected.  So helpful.
