This is Alpha Recovery which is a debt collection firm. Sometimes the debts they try to collect are invalid and sometimes they are not. Either way, the law firm I work for can help if you are being called by them.

Received a call from this number on 9/3/14 looking for Tom Critz (???). I explained that he had the wrong number and person hung up. However, they provided their name or the company they work for.

I received a call from Kim Scott. He asked me about Kevin Slaton. I asked where he was calling from and he said Alpha. I asked if his company is a debt collection company. He refused to identify the company and said to look them up online. When I question purpose of his call; he said I see where this is going and hung up on me.

Also got a call from this number several times in the last few days. I thought it was just a telemarketer so I kept ignoring it. Today, I answered so that I could tell them to take me off the call list. Of course when I answered, the caller said his name was Kim Scott and that he was looking for relative of mine. I couldn't believe that he had my number as a related number to my relative. He also said he couldn't say what type of company he was but just that the name was Alpha Recovery. He asked me to pass along the message to my relative. I am guessing this a debt collection call.

Actually the number that called me was 916-273-3448 and it was Kim Scott from Alpha Recovery, he must work from home.
