I'm also on the Do-Not-Call list. It's useless since unwanted calls continue to pour in. No consequences occur for ignoring these lists, I guess. The phone still rings and calls get through to my ID list. I have to go through them all to get to my legitimate calls. So this registry is totally useless. My own call-block system only stops the call after the first ring. So the annoyance of the phone ringing all the time, and weeding them out every day is crappy.
You can report a number to Do-Not-Call, including date and time of each call. That ends calls from that particular number. However, the scum bags can jump to another number and keep going. I don't have any new digital phone, so I cannot order apps that are now out there to help. This problem should be considered a crime.
