Received a call at 8:55PM. No decent legitimate company would be calling at that time. Did not leave a message is another indication that it wasn't a legitimate call.

Called about 6:30 PM, so many of these scam/junk calls come at the dinner hour, so I was already suspicious. Number unknown to me. The name sent on the caller ID was simply 'Denver'. Bob Denver, John Denver and Denver Pyle aren't around anymore, so I knew it was a scam/spam call. Blocked it with my call blocker

Just received a hang up from this number.

Got a call from this number yesterday (10/13/2016) at around 8 PM.  Caller ID showed up as "DENVER 1-720-504-1536".  Whenever I don't recognize the number I let it roll thru to voice mail.  They left no message.  Later that night I dialed the number back (using *67 to hide my CID), and got a recorded message that the number belonged to "Aspen Media & Market Research".

A couple months ago (in Aug 2016) I got another junk call from the same area code & prefix.  That earlier call showed up with the Caller ID "ADVF 1-720-504-1552", which I found out was an organization claiming to be the "American Disabled Veterans Foundation".  They were soliciting donations; and trying to get callers to provide a credit card number over the phone.

After getting two different junk calls now where both callers had the same area code (720) and prefix (504), I've now decided to add that entire range of numbers to my Call Block List.   That is, I've now permanently blocked 720-504-xxxx, where xxxx includes all numbers from 0000 thru 9999.  And unless you personally know someone whose phone number is in that area code/prefix combination, I highly recommend that you consider blocking that same range of numbers on your own phone.

Tom R., not a good idea to block all calls from the 720-504-xxxx range of numbers. You might end up missing a call from a business or person you do want to hear from. Best to just block numbers one at a time.

For example, lately I've called a number of different types of contractors to get bids on a remodelling job I'm planning. I don't always see a CID name when they call me back. Most leave a voicemail if I don't pick up, but not all of them do. So, it's possible some of the numbers you have now blocked in that number range could be a number from someone you DO want to hear from.
