Called while at work, didn't answer, no vm

This is a scam. Caller says its for veterans. They give a very Small amount.
Challenge them. It is a scam. Terrible respect for actual veterans.

Called 2/12/16 at 5:32 pm.  Caller ID showed V212193258003731. No message was left and we do not answer calls from numbers we are not familiar with. Even if the caller states it is for some charity (as mentioned in another post) - veterans, police, fire, you name it, we never give ANY donations based on solicitations.  We choose whom to give and use Charity Navigator as a trusted source of information since there are so many organizations wanting money and many are not legitimate or do not use their donations effectively.

Picked up the phone when we got a call from this # VERY early this a.m. The caller, who was soliciting donations for a veterans' organization, sounds exactly like the very insistent and intimidating fellow who used to call for the police benevolent association (or some such group). I said "No, thanks," hung up, and they called right back. Like others posting here, we don't give money to people who intrude on our privacy via the telephone. Blocked!
