I got a call about an hour ago.  No message left.

The recorded message says that "our records show that you have not updated your google listing".

Guogle pay telephone callers to call Call CAll CALl CALL - Each call is collected in a data base. If someone that was called updates their paid Guogle search position, the telephone caller that called that someone is credited and paid accordingly. THEY are not Google employees they are just annoying as many people as they can on behave of Guogle for which Guogle may or may not pay them. You too can become a Guogle annoyer. Anyone can.

100% illegal robocall, probable phishing and/or identity theft. Claimed to be "updating google listing" - obviously not the case. And folks, this isn't coming from google in any sense. It's just identify thieves using a well-known name

Received the same call as others. A automated message mentioning something about updating my Google listing.  Once I entered 1, a man by the name of Pierce came on the line, notified me that the call may be recorded for training and said that they just wanted to make sure that my listing was updated on Google and all other search engines.  I asked what organization he was calling from and he hung up.
