I received a similar message yesterday from an ad I ran on Craigs list.  The person identifies no specific interest in the item for sale.  Here is what was written to me:

"My name is Richard Cole, I work with the military as a  SDI 9T010(AFSPC Headquarters) in colorado my hauler from DHL who will come for the pickup after payment had been cleared get back to me with your add and paypal email for the payment.  text me back 720) 388-7910"

Another scam by Richard Cole. I have an ad on craigslist that Richard asked to purchase. His first email:
"--
) why do you wanna sell it? where are you? any issue? reply with your email to know you are legit"

I replied, then he sent a reply:
"My name is Richard Cole, I work with the military as a  SDI 9T010(AFSPC Headquarters) in colorado my hauler from DHL who will come for the pickup after payment had been cleared get back to me with your add and paypal email for the payment.  text me back 720) 388-7910"

I asked what paypal address will you be sending payment from and if it is a confirmed and verified address. No reply. Thanks to this forum I found out this was a scam just by searching the phone number.
