Yes, I know, if a debt collector calls you then you must absolutely owe the money, right?  You people are all alike, trying to convince people to pay for nonexistent debt, calling the wrong house, not providing proof that the debt is real and most importantly that you have the legal right to collect it.  Take your shilling elsewhere.  This scam has been blown wide open.  Anyone receiving a call from this criminal organization should immediately sue them into oblivion.

Nick saying, “This is a call from a debt collector.” As I tell people (like my ex, who was a major idiot, by the way, and didn't listen to me for my suggestions on how to handle calls like this), talk with them, & work with them to PAY OFF what you owe! When you make that last payment, you'll feel WAY BETTER and be able to do things that you want soon enough. DON'T KEEP RUNNING AWAY FROM THE PROBLEM, and/or mooching off the next person you're shacked up with to pay it for you!!! Remember, callers like Nick are simply doing their job, and only you can be blamed for getting them to call you in the first place...if no one ever went into debt, calls like Nick's wouldn't happen, so if you're truly annoyed at them, PAY OFF YOUR DEBT(S) AND DO *NOT* GIVE THEM ANY MORE REASON(S)/EXCUSE(S) TO CALL! :-) You can do this, folks...I believe in you!!! God bless all of you who read this, also!!! <><

By the way, Roger, just to ensure I'm clear: in *no* way whatsoever am I trying to call you an “idiot”, imply you may be, nor am I trying to insult you at all. :-) Those references were *solely* in regards to my ex. :-) I further hope you never are needing to deal with debt collector(s) calling you -- or any other annoying person(s) or place(s), for that matter!!!

Great :)
As you have dealt with Nick first hand then, mind letting everyone know the name and location of the company that Nick works for?
Did you happen to get Nick's license number as a debt collector so he was able to prove he was legal?

Is there any reason why you aren't answering the questions that were put you?

How about the company's name?  Since you have made payments to them, you should have easily be able to provide that, right?

How about their legally verifiable address?  Since you have made payments, you should have correspondence that lists their address, right?

Hi! :-) Sorry I didn't reply sooner, but just now saw your messages. Unfortunately, I do not have Nick's license number as I was not making any payments to him or his company. (My ex continued to rack up even more debt after me, needing a supposed hospitalization -- all a show to try to scare me or something, much like a hypochondriac.) However, I CAN tell you from the voicemail that Nick works at a company that sounds like “Wakefield & Associates”. I'm sure if someone were to Google the reverse phone number or company name, it should come up. (I'm using my phone to post comments, so it'd likely be quicker/easier for you, if you could, please.) Thanks for your reply, and I'm sorry I forgot this piece in my first comment(s). :-) God bless! <><
