received a call with a generic voicemail that was left on my cell phone. When I called back 720 364 9039, a man (with a very thick indian accent) said, "thank you for call the ira, how may I help you." This is an absolute scam. No one from the IRS will contact you. If the IRS wants to reach you, they will send a certified letter in the mail. Do not call these scammers back.

Its a scam, generic voicemail, "the reason for this call is to inform you the IRS is filing a lawsuit against you, to get more information about this case file. Please call immediately on our department number 720-364-9039 Thank you", but it doesnt say who the message its for, usually important calls such as this would be, "Hello this message is for (name)" Anywho I called the number and thick indian accent.
