Caller claims to be from the VA to qualify me for a reduced mortgage. I asked her twice to verify that she was from the VA and she said she was. Also, we are on the Do Not Call list.

The VA will not call you on a week end day EVER!
Also they will not call you unless you asked them to.

Wasnt home to take the call, called this # twice and answering machine stated her name, called back voice matched machine and stated some called me from that number, she stated no one. I let her know that some one is using her number to report it to phone company and stating that the person is saying they are from the VA. So maybe the Co phone company will get to the bottom of this for US

Always let the unknown number go to voice mail.  They NEVER LEAVE a message….I am on the DO
NOT CALL roster also.  Scammer.

We received this call on 8/11 and caller ID said Unavailable.  We did not answer it and when the answering machine picked up, they hung up.

They called my house at least 20 times.  We have not called back but looked it up instead. It is a Colorado number.
