I spent the day applying for jobs at one, specific, reputable, large company. I did not opt into ANYTHING. I am very careful online. This was the second call I received today from a school of some sort. This one said they were Career Advisors. I asked where they were getting my number and they said I must have opted in somewhere to receive these calls. I absolutely did not opt in anywhere, for anything. I asked for a supervisor, who got on the phone and when I began to ask her where they got my number she hung up on me.
