A man on the other side of the call said hello twice after I said hello 2 different times. When he said nothing else after I said hello twice more I said goodbye band hung up.

After three hellos a male caller spoke about representing some police organization. My past experience has revealed that these organizations claiming to represent the fire or police only pass on 10% of their proceeds. The rest goes to pay the solicitor and  their employer, which is not any Fire or police agency.. As Admiral Akbar would say "It's a Trap!!"

I got a phone call today from this number.  I answered but they were slow to get to me so I hung up.  I have no doubt they were calling for the fire or police agency as I have had these many times before.  I never give them anything due to the amount that goes to the solictor and
their employer.

Another Police charity scam. They claim the money goes to supporting the police department. There are valid charities to support police departments.  If you'd like to support your police, there are many valid charities.  Look them up.  Don't fall for a cold call.

Called asking for Harriett told them they had the wrong number. A man rudely says "you know what it's not the wrong number just the wrong name but you need to hear this too" claims he is from the Colorado Firefighter Organization telling me I need to check my fire alarms because they save my families life and goes into a "second" thing and I hung up on them.
