Cold call for vague "owner" about "tax matters" and would not leave a message nor identify in any way after being told the accountant is not available on the telephone at this number.  "We'll try back in a couple hours" script failure to listen.

Has tried to call my cell phone a couple of times.  I do not answer and they leave no message.

Caller wanted to speak to "the owner" about an alleged federal tax lien.  Claimed he was Hunter Gierling from "The Phoenix Group", but when asked what that was, he said it was a "private matter".  Now, if there were a federal lien against the owner of this small business, it would be a matter of public record.  This smells like a scam to me.  Should he call back, he will politely be informed that there is little to no chance of anyone here passing along the message.

We just received a call from Hunter saying the same thing...he is digging for information on your business.  Do not give him any information and hang up on him.
