The scam is alive. Called at 9.00 today 4/30/14  Deaf relay service we deal with several customers  on this service . Been given an Escalade from my uncle.It is in CA with a tow guy. Want to have you repair battery alternator and starter . Do you  take credit cards over the phone. Need to have tow guy  bring to you . We have had many of these calls..
Seems pointless to record law abiding citizens e mails phone calls but nothing can be done with scam artists

Got a fax from this number. Wants a catering order out of Oregon for "300 peoples okay and please remember to email me your restaurant menu and restaurant web-site okay and let me know if you are the owner of the restaurant so i can get back to you..."

I received a fax requesting food for a birthday party for 300ppl on August 12, 2011 from an Angel Villarreal / Dan Nakata?  No valid information and seems bit unusual.

Same messages as the two previous posters.  

Sounded suspicious and glad I checked to verify.

Probably credit card scammer who wants either cash kick back form the order or to use stolen card numbers.

Werid I'm in PA and got this via fax from 720-223-7274 on July 29, 2011 at 6:50pm.
MY name in Dan Nakata and I will like to kno wif you are available to make food for 300 peoples on Auguts 12th, 2011 and pick it up in your store by 3pm I want to deal with the owner becasue this large order okay and email me back to my personal e-mial so I can respond to you quickly which is Dannakata999@gmail.com and I willlike you to email me with your restauran menu and web-site okay and please remember to e-mail me okay and also let me know if you ar ethe owner of the store okay
