I got that call today. It was Best Buy calling about the protection plan for my cellphone. I was late with a credit card payment, so they froze my account, which my cell phone protection plan is tied to. Since that plan has a monthly fee, they wanted me to make alternate payment arrangements. WTF? They freeze your account when you are late until you make the payment, at least they did with me.

They called here twice today.. I never answer calls I don't recognize..... The caller ID said Varolii Corporation. Have no idea what it is for or who it actually is

It's Best Buy.  They called me because my credit card number changed, and I have the "Black Tie" insurance on my cell phone that used the old card number.  They did leave me a message once, but the last time, they left no message.

I have an iphone and have their black tie insurance plan on it.  I had my credit card # stolen recently and canceled it.  I think they are calling b/c they can't charge the old card for the insurance plan.

It's Best Buy calling because we purchased our cell phones from them and added insurance. My husbands debit card expired and they called to get an updated card number and expiration date. It's NOT a collection call.
