And there's no law against computers calling people and speaking to them in a non-English language? How are we, as English speakers, supposed to respond to the phone call? How are we supposed to follow the prompts so that we can actually get a human being on the line so that we can say to them, "please take my number off your calling list", (or tell them to go to hell, if that's your preference).
This phone number, 719-941-3769, called me at 9:00 in the morning. I wasn't sleeping, but still, that's way too early to be calling someone. The number keeps calling me about once a week. I've probably received ten phone calls from them in the last couple of months.
I want to point something out: I have three phone lines. one is a VOIP line for the house. One is my personal cell phone. One is my business cell phone. I have a "cool" business phone number, which is a Google Voice number, and the "cool" business phone number forwards to my business cell phone. My point is that the ONLY phone of mine that keeps getting these Spanish phone calls is my business phone. I have no way of knowing whether these Mexican people are calling my business phone's regular number (which I naver give out and don't even remember what it is) or my Google Voice number. Given the fact that both of my cell phones are on the same ATT account, and my personal cell phone is not receiving these Spanish phone calls, I'm inclined to think that ATT is not giving out my phone numbers. But I AM inclined to think that Google is giving out Google Voice numbers.
So, to everyone who is receiving these Spanish calls, do you have Google Voice?
