I just got a phone call today from a shady lady with an accent who said I had won $750,000 ($450,000 after taxes) and gave me a number to call: 516 252 1973. I talked to an eloquent, articulant and professional mannered man named Michael Garcia who claimed to represent HCC Global in the legal dept. He said to claim my winnings I had to pay $2200 for a background check
I also got an email with a name David Cooper and number 7024873736. I thought it was all legit until I saw this forum. Now I see it's all a very well-organized scam

Call on my land line 9/28/2010
Gave their 'Company' mas the Federal Gaming Board   Las Vegas ! n
Name given was David Campos...

Sounded very professional  and informed me that I had won a 2nd prize of $400,000 over three months ago and  "why had I not called and made my claim and arrangements for payment'
They gave HCC Global as their insurer for the delivery of the prize.   On Contacting HCC Global they have no knowledge of this company nor do they ever insure lottery or other prize companies or sweepstake systems.

Pmce more . .....  another scam amoungst the hundreds out there

Best of luck   Rick
