The caller is from India, or at least he has a heavy Indian accent.  Caller ID indicates "Incoming Call" and does not show up on the caller ID listing.  Supposedly this is a promotion based on my completion of a Toshiba gift card that I filled out at Walmart in January, 2011.  I try my best to avoid shopping at Walmart and have no recollection of filling out a Toshiba gift card.

According to the caller I am eligible to win three prizes, a Toshiba TV, $2,500 in cash from Ford, or five nights at four days as a Marriott Resort in one of several Florida locations.  To claim my prize I have to go to an address some 30 miles away to a business called Grand Discovery Consultants, LLC.  If I understood the caller correctly I have to listen to a pitch of some sort.  The number of Grand Consultants is 803-547-8315.

The same people called me last Friday.  When I questioned the origin of the call the caller used some very abusive language.  I called AT&T to get the number of the caller.  AT&T spent 15 minutes attempting to get the number, only to find that the call came over the internet and the number was untraceable number.  

This reminds me of the time-share promotions of a few years ago.  Do I plan to show up?  I doubt it.
