Spoof phone mail.  Listen, if you answer this, do not say YES! TV says there is a scam out there and they try to get you to answer yes.  They then record your voice and can use it to charge things against your charge cards, etc, because they have you on tape saying yes.  I don't answer any of these calls and I have too many now to block.  Don't answer if you don't know who they are.  If someone really needs to contact  you, they will leave you a message.

I answered the call, the recorded voice said "goodbye" and hung up.  I tried to call back and got that the number had been disconnected.

"New York NY" called, my answering machine answered: "Hello, please leave a message after the tone." but their machine hung up.  Didn't even say "Goodbye" first.  Shouldn't these machines have manners when they communicate with each other?
