I've been called by:
1-877-884-1567
and
1-800-847-2461
Neither of which leave messages and I refuse to pick up.
The number I'm reporting:
1-718-569-5236
Left a message as a computerized "english" woman. Saying that I have a debt etc.. and that I should call:
1-800-847-2461 to either resolve the issue or to remove my number. If you get a call from one of these three numbers, it's the same place.
My debt is with Verizon wireless. When I looked up the -1567 and -2461 numbers, there have been people complaining that they either do not have a debt with Verizon, or have resolved it but Verizon has not received payment. Most have pegged it as a scam. Regardless if you owe money to wherever, this collection agency shouldn't be trusted. Others have also said this agency is ER Solutions, whether or not this is true, I don't know.
If you can, "blacklist" the number (T-Mobile can do this) and you won't be bothered by it again. Do the same to the other two, if you haven't already.
