I had an identical experience to many others here: someone at this number (Advantage Loans or something based on the electronic voice that answers when you call back) calls our office, asks to speak to the owner by first name only, and when told very politely that the owner is not available but perhaps someone else can help, CLICK - they hang up. For those of you who are harassed by these people regularly, I did notice you can call this number and choose to reach a voice mail box. One of our employees called and left a "message" where she pretended she was speaking to someone else about the call she just received, saying something like "Yeah, they just call and ask for the owner and hang up on you when you say he isn't available. No, it's not a customer. Just some telemarketer spam company. I guess I'd probably hang up too if I had to call people all day who I knew didn't want to talk to me." She continued in this manner until the message time ran out. Immature and surely pointless, but it amused us. :-)
