I answered and a man with a foreign accent answered my hello with a hello as if he was checking that a person answered instead of an answering machine. I said hello, now irritated at the possibility of yet another solicitation violating the Do Not Call Registry, and heard another hello with a question mark. At this point, I went silent to allow the caller to at least be professional enough to identify himself and get to the point but instead the verification "hello?" came a third time, then silence and a hang up. If I ever decide to be a serial killer, I will hunt down people like this degenerate and his bosses.
I called the number back anonymously and the number is not currently an active line SO it has to be something involving having to hide. I certainly wouldn't do business with any party that tries to be hidden.
