I just heard a voicemail saying the same thing!! That they were going to take legal action against me. It was a man with a heavy accent. I'm just going to block the number and ignore it. 718 354 8929

I got a call just now from a guy that can't speak english very good and he told me that I have actions towards my name but just last week I got a call from an unknown number and I answered it and it was the same guy that just left me a voicemail. Next step it to the police I done warned him when he called me from the unknow number and he got mad at me when I told him I didn't understand a word he was saying and I needed to speak to someone that I could understand and he hung up on me

I got a call from eric wilson from number 718-354-8929 saying he was with the legal affairs dept. Of the us treasury and he stated that law enforcement action had been taken against me. I knew this was a scam b/c the us treasury dept would only handle something like via reg. Us mail. I can't believe these people can get away with this. I hope they will get caught and arrested for a very long time.

Well believe it because it happens. That's an advantage of being located in India and Pakistan and an effect of number spoofing. It's pretty hard for US security to catch jokers overseas. If you don't answer unknown numbers in any way, you'll hear nothing from anyone. People only answering these calls keeps them in business most, they cannot survive without it.

I received a call from a man who said his name was Eric Wilson from the U.S. Department of Legal Affairs threatening action against me. I will not call back after Googling the phone number and seeing all the reports I am goinig to report it to the proper authorities. Location was New York, NY.
