Yes I filed a report with my local Santa Clara Police Dept online and then approved the report. Then I filed online report with California District Attorneys office, Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and Santa Clara county District Attorneys office. Finally I also filed a complaint with FBI using the IC3 link http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx. Please do all this. Filing the IC3 complaint is very important as it will give more reasons for the FBI to go after these guys since multiple complaints will get them to act. Please do the needful and let me know if you have any more questions.

This guy hindi indian speaking called me thathe will pay1400.00 dollors to my Dish account if i send him 680.00 $ so i called dish and they told the payment was recieved and i went and deposited the money at Wellsfargo bank .His tel:718-340-3771  and ac #6198460567 so please be careful and i lost $680 .00

MJ - Please file a police Report and take it to Wells Fargo and open a dispute with them. Also file a case with IC3 and your county's district Attorneys office. The more people who file these reports then the authorities will take action. Hope you got refunded by Dish. Call Dish and tell them that because of their carelessness that you have lost money. They should a tleast give you refund or the Bank should reverse the charges. Please do complain to then Wells Fargo Bank as they will use their legal team to trace these criminals!

I have received simialr call from a 661-748-0240.  The guy calls himself as Dave Malhotera and he has all my personal account with dish.   Same pattern of scam (dish network, western union, and asking to send money to UK).   Please note this number and report if you receive such calls.
My question is should dish network not be responsible for all this chaos because they have compromised their customer account security.  I am going to check with my attorney to find out what is dish network responsibility and liability in this situation.

This guy Raj Malhotra (by the way is a Shah Rukh Khan movie name) called me last week on February 16,2013. It was a long weekend. I gave him the A/C # and he paid $2100 on my account. After this he kept calling me for about a week. I knew this was too good to be true. I told him I will confirm with my cable company and then I will pay you. Eventually my cable agent told me that the payment has not been cleared and that since I did not do this, they also returned my $ 20 which would have been charged to me otherwise. I did not pay this guy a single penny.
