I received two scam calls from this # as well.  The individual left a message claiming he was officer jason Clark with badge number 16108.

Rcvd call & vm stating IRS tax crime department. When called back no one would say anything, they'd hang up, numerous times.  Scam???

Total scam! Two weeks ago got a similar call but from someone with a different name and number. You can report them to the IRS for impersonating an agent of the IRS which is a federal offense. FBI would be interested too if you wanted to take the time to report it. I called my local BBB while I had them on the line and they knew all about it. No need to worry if they call again. Simply tell them you have this info and they'll be off the phone in a nanosecond!

I've received voicemails from this number for two weeks. Finally was able to answer today when they just called. Guy speaking broken english threatening legal action but "unable to discuss the nature of the tax crime" with me. He said only his superior is able to discuss these things. His name was "Steven Smith" and the Superior's name is "Eric Forrester". He said the superior would only be available between 11-4pm. I said great, it's noon, let's get him on the phone. Unfortunately today he's out sick. Total scam. Reporting it now.

This guy called and my husband and stated we were being sued by the IRS. when my husband wouldn't give the guy any info and called BS on him he hung up.  Also stated his name was Eric Foster with the IRS,  Now my husbands # is blocked and they wont respond.   Total Scam!!
