Robocall.  Voice says this is officer so and so informing you that a lawsuit in your name has been filed in your local county courthouse.  Call this number for more information.

they left a vm on my machine. i called back and in broken english they said IRS. i asked for his name, no response; i said i was speaking to an agent named carly and they hung up. i called back with the *67 number preceding the number and it rang and rang and tied up his phone bec. i tried without the *67 and got a busy signal. kept doing that for a while until he flipped it to go to his recording VM when i left him a message that this is the FBY and we're on to him.

IRS doesn't call without first sending paperwork and usually asks the taxpayer to call them.

Same as Mike, Robo call stating he was police office blab, and there was a lawsuit pending. Left phone number for return call.

The caller said he was officer shawn davis from the IRS. I owed money and I had two choices. Either work with him or he had the right to call the police to arrest me!
I hung up and called my local police department to report. I also reported it to the Treasury Inspector at www.tigta.gov
