I tried calling our Electric company and demanding that our name/phone number NOT be share with competitors, as is the law.  They took my info to put us on their internal "Do NOT Contact" list..  For about a week these calls actually STOPPED; but this week they came back with a VENGENCE; from an average of 3 daily to now 5-8.

Received a call from them on both my home and cell. Foreign accent claiming they are from Green Energy Solar, so I told them I am on the DNC and to remove me from the their list. Reported the number to the DNC.   Honestly when will the DNC do something about these calls, what good are they?

claims to be a solar panel company, calls every 2-4 days even though i have asked multiple times to be removed from their list and told them i am not interested. I also asked to speak to a supervisor to be removed from list. Twice, I have heard them speaking to another party on the line that they are calling me from soliciting them as well, sort of like a three way call. THEY HAVE CALLED OVER 10 TIMES! this is harassment. i am on the national do not call list as well as have requested to be removed multiple times over a span of 4 months!

I agree; all of theses calls are scams to get your identity so they can open accounts in your name.   Too bad this government condones fraudulent individuals to open telephone accounts to harass American people in attempt to steal their money and identity.   The telephone companies just want the money and don't investigate whether they are legitimate companies.   It had gotten worse with the advent of the Internet.
