I spoke with  man claiming they were from a chief of police campaign drive.  I gave him my name and mailing address to get the information in the mail.  He then transfered me to a women to verify the information that he collected from me was acurate...she had the name of a relative of mine.  When I told her that the name didn't match mine, she then asked again for my name.  I told her my last name again, then told her that they would receive nothing further from me and I hung up.

on my caller id - did not leave a message

called and I didn't recognize the number so I left the machine get it and they did not leave a message so I guess its someone I don't need to speak with

Was told chief of police fundraising / call was being recorded.  Told him not interested and hung up.
