phone scam, wants to verify my name and then demand my s.s.# so they can serve me with court papers regarding a debt. If one owes a debt, the collector already knows who you are because they supplied the service/loan. This guy named Marvin Dixon called with a thick Indian accent..Ha! Who knows an Indian with that name. The background noise sounds like a phone center, and all voices I overhead are blantantly foreign and difficult to understand. He threatens to sue, etc. if I didn't provide the info, which I refused. Also threatens to serve me with papers if I don't pay within 48 hours. He has called me twice at work now, I am very upset and told him to stop, knowing this is against the law.
