I too received a call from this number today. The 717 area code indicates that the number is from central Pennsylvania location.  I didn't answer it because I didn't recognize the number, but they left me a voicemail.  It was a politics-related phone call, but it wasn't campaign propaganda...instead it was an invitation to a forum on energy conservation that is happening later this month, hosted by one of our state reps.  Perhaps the other people received the call because they signed up for environmental awareness groups.  If they are interested, the event is September 20 from 1-3 pm at an elementary school on 201 Cherry Street in Langhorne, PA.  Hope that helps.

I got a call from that number at about 1 PM Monday.  When I answered there was none there.  I called the number back and first there was nothing, as if the call hadn't gone through, and the next time I got a beep as from a Fax line.

this # has called me at least every other day for almost a year, from 7am till 11pm. tried to have it traced, no good. it seems to be a fax #. ive called it back and get either a pick up with nobody there or a beeping like a fax. i called all the phone co, to trace it, or get any info i could so i could call them to get rid of my #. no good. my next move is to fax this # with a letter and tell them how i feel about them bothering me ALL the time. if i get any resaults i will post it here. 10-14-08
