Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

THis thief called purporting to be "officer Jason miller" and said if I didnt call 757-517-0013 quickly , a bad situation will happen to me. The voice message left a 757 area code number to call back but the caller ID had a 717 area code. Otherwise the rest of the numbers matched. THe voice sounded like a sickly african american lady with maybe a louisiana accent. Very desperate person. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Possibly related to fake IRS calls recieved recently due to similarities with the voice. 757 area code is virginia, 717 area code is pennsylvania. Plans to forward information to the police first thing in the morning

I just received the same call as the other comment.  They actually left a message saying that he is officer Jason Miller and that my attorney or I needed to contact him back at 757-517-0013 and if I didn't all he could say is good luck to me as something bad will happen if I did not respond to his call.  He also sounded desperate as if its REALLY REALLY urgent and imperative that I call him back now.

I do not answer phone calls to numbers that I do not know and always look them up online before responding or blocking it but I have heard about this scam before and wanted to make sure others know about it also.
