Got a call a few minutes ago from the "United States G" ...

Gosh, wonder who that would be - scammers obviously.

Just turned on the phone then off, then added the number to the blocked list. Was surprised that it had not already been added here.

Must be a follow-up call to the scam Treasury Dept (Buffalo NY 716-200-4993) action against me scam call that came in 42 minutes earlier that I also did the same thing to. That one started a recording immediately when I turned on the phone so I heard a small part of the scam crap (a mans name but recorded in a female voice...).
Both were from the 716 area code and both from the "feds".

Anyway, all such calls should be ignored and people should never attempt to call the numbers or talk to them.

Person with what sounded like an Indian accent called saying she was "Lisa Jones." She called from this number, but said to call her at 716-200-4985. She claimed we were being sued for tax evasion and fraud (uh no, we have a top accountant) and the sheriff was going to arrest us. Said we had to call that second. These people actually registered their phone number in Buffalo NY as IRS so don't be surprised if IRS comes up when you search it.

I just received a call form this number as well and when I asked them not to call again, they called right back. Said he was an officer of the court from the IRS. Such BS!

Just called and said they were with the IRS.  Promptly hung up.  The guy had an Indian accent.

Got a call with threats that scared me. Being a senior it really made me afraid and caused me great anxiety when they threated to come to my house to arrest me for various tax issues. I finally calmed down and asked how I file and for my S.S. number. They couldn't comply. I then asked them to connect me with the IRS.
The names they used were: James Mack and Simon Matthews. They really scared the fool of me. There should be a special place on HELL for these crooks.
