I believe scammers or telemarketers are using cell phone numbers now because no one will answer an 800 or 866 number anymore since most people know this is a telemarketer. I have called these numbers back and usually get the message that the number is not in service--which is funny since they just called me from that number!!!! If anyone knows what these are please post that information so the rest of us are made aware.

This number brought back memories... I immediately recognized it as the area code and exchange for my alma mater. As a student I was a tele-counselor and called prospective students to see if they wanted any information from a students perspective. I also know that the University at Buffalo uses these numbers to solicit donations. In the past I have asked them to take me off the list for 2 years and they seemed to oblige.
