same call telling me that suit has been filed so recently that i probably didn't even know it was filed and i needed to contact them as soon as possible. number blocked and reported as spam via an app on my phone.

Just received a call from this number and asking for a Douglas Coleman. I've been getting this call from this same firm for over a year now. I don't know this Coleman character and I've asked repeatedly for them to STOP calling. My number is registered with the National "No Call" List. I've transcribed the message:

"Hi good afternoon this call is for Douglas Coleman. It is the Law firm of Colly and Bergman calling. My number is 1-888-900-9749 and my extension is 7551 "

Called for my husband.  As I am job hunting I stupidly picked up.  Did not admit to being his wife nor admit that he lived here just that I knew him.  Also informed a Bob Baily @ 888-900-9749x7552 that the debt he was calling on was very likely from a bankruptcy settlement 10 years ago.  As he would give me no information though he did have my husband's birth date correct, as to which debt it was I took the number, thanked him and hung up.

If they call again I'm telling them he moved to England. lol.  From the looks of things people have mentioned they mostly buy zombie debt.  His will fall off in a year and anyone trying to collect on it can be sued anyways.

Next time I'll just let it go to vice mail.  The guy basically asked if I was a nosy neighbor and I did not deny it. :D

Getting harrassing cals for smoneone who doesnt even live here, I have owned my house fr 4 yrs. Was told that this person gave my number. I dont think so.  Told to stop calling.  Let them know any more calls and the States attorney general would be involved.  Nice having those connections
