Did he tell you he wanted you to Moneygram him funds in order to stop court proceedings?! I just received a call from him today. The whole thing seems shady. I looked up the address he gave me (45 Delsan Ct. Buffalo, NY 14216) and the street view shows a run-down apartment building - not even an address!

I don't know what to make of this situation, but something about this man seems extremely OFF.

I called back to ask for information in writing concerning "claim." I said if you would send me the information in writing, I Can confirm with you that the information you have (the fake social security number) is not mine!!!! He said in a not too happy tone, "I'll just fax this to the county clerks office..." and then he hung up.

Please, Please, to all who read this, ALWAYS ASK FOR SOMETHING IN WRITING! And, NEVER, EVER, verify information over the phone, unless the business is one you know (and even then it is still "iffy")

I have been getting a call from a "collector" from the Buffalo, New York area. I have never recognized this number and I have never received anything in the mail. The number was 1-716-462-4463. And i have not received anything via mail about anything and then he proceeds to call my brother and im like who calls someones brother and said something about i am to call him or i would be or however you spell that word. Im like so now im gonna go to court over something i have never received any paperwork in the mail about. Sounds very odd and fishy to me!!!!! He also said that my brother would be responsible about it!! Im like yea right. We dont even know why ur calling but now were going to court. Right!! Anyway be very careful with these phone calls cause all they want is probably want is a credit card number or checking account number id say.

He's just another "Buffalo-boy". We specialize in them here. Not that it's a hard specialty to master. They're all dumber than fence posts & more crooked than an alcoholic carnival worker. It's not very difficult to out smart them. Most of them are living proof that a human can still be ambulatory with a negative digit IQ.
If you take another call from the fraud, tell him you have familiarized yourself with the FDCPA & that all your calls will now be logged & recorded. He'll most likely lose control of his bowels. That might be because he's upset, or it might be that his shrinking IQ has afforded him the loss of muscle control. Oh well, he's just a fraudulent and/or bogus debt collector. His personal hygiene is none of your concern.
