The message stated a claim has been filed on my behalf under my name and social security number. She needs to verify address and employment information to release the information. She said to call 866-834-2214.

I only use my home phone to call relatives outside the country. I never give out the number. Not sure what this is about.

Received a call regarding a claim filed against my social security. I'm calling the Social Security office tomorrow. I'll have the phone numbers to this company handy. If this is a scam somehow I don't think the Feds will take kindly to their action.

It is also a lady who called my cell phone number claiming the same thing about my social security.  Thank you for those who put a message on this site.  This helps me know that I am not the only one receiving this kind of phone call.

I received a call from this number indicating a claim was filed against me and I needed to call 866-834-2214 to verify my social and place of employment. After researching I found both these numbers belong to: ACL Adjustment Associates Inc. a Collection Service out of Hasbruck Heights New Jersey.  Hope this helps for anyone else receiving these annoying calls.
