i spoke to the caller from 716-297-5447 and she informed that she was verifying national grid gas service to be turned on at a residence i lived at 22 years ago. called national grid, & gave them the #; they have no record of any office from this telephone number.'' BE AWARE ALL OF YOU; THIS IS A SCAM''' to get your personal info. like ss #,. don't give them any info!!!!!!!!!!. call the attorney general's office fraud dept. to make a complaint & find out who these people are. all they have to do is research people that have passed on and even old records. what i want to know is , i had a different name back then, how did they find out my new name of over 25 years?????????????
could it possibly be someone from any of the credit bureaus doing some shaddy business?? think about it; they have access to your personal info to prepare credit reports. could it  be someone who works at a bank that also has your personal info?
how can they get national grid to appear on our caller i.d.??????????? must be a new gadget that radio shack sells to decieve the public!!!
