Said his name was Officer Mike Jones from the IRS Tax Fraud Division and I was a subject of an investigation. Had my last name but wrong first name! I work in Law Enforcement and contacted our local IRS Division immediately. IRS "Agents" not Officers do NOT make calls. No office of Investigations in the city listed for the prefix. No "Agent" by that name. Contact your IRS Office immediatly if you get a call from this number.

Same thing from IRS  but could not understand what the was saying.  SOunded like a put together message.    Do not return this call.

I received the call today. The message was jumbled and incoherent.  The man was very rude and hung up on me once he realized I was not buying his story.

called mentioning his name Officer Barrick Fostner; to cal him back - all fraud

Same thing.  Said not to ignore the message or he would have no choice to then garbled information.  Fraud.
