Call me from this number left another number to call them on my answering machine called that number and got a recording again saying her name was Deborah Moore I don't know these people

I received 2 calls from this number..the first for my husband who died 7 months ago, explaining somethingabout possible charges as cosigner on some sort of bank investigation and named my youngest daughter, gave a case number and this phone number requesting I call back..  The second call was for me same basic information but no phone numbers left, and the guy (not the same voice as the first call) couldn't even say my name. I called the phone number and got "the desk of Brittany Moore".  I called the local police and their final remark was to delete the calls and NOT call them again.
