This number called about 3 Felony charges they had on me is this a lovey number?

Person named Veronica Newman claiming to be a lawyer...about a major complaint regarding a returned check.  This matter will be turned over to the states attorney office for further action.  She gave a case number.  She stated that I was to call the Law office of Veronica Newman.

I have a very commom name and do not have any outstanding or returned checks.  This is very annoying and worrisome when these people leave such messages.
