A recording of some man called and said "this message is for (then a purposely scrambled recorded name) from the offices of Brinkman (Wash or Walsh) & Associates.saying they are calling regarding a returned item from my bank that requires my immediate attention and that it would be in my best interest for me or my counsul to call 1-800-231-6736  a file number 2808xx."  I first searched thie 800 number and find there are other reports by others which prompted me to search 716-204-7224 which is the number left on my caller ID. Obviously neither number deserves a return call.

I just got the same call and there is nothing returned from my bank. i have no idea what this is but i'm not calling them back either.

The name on the caller ID associated with the phone # 716-204-7224 appeared as Global [***]....I called that # from work & the young lady that answered the phone asked if I received a call from someone from there.  I asked for the name of the business and she said Brinkman Walsh Associates.  She said just a minute and was trying to locate the # I was calling from in her database, but of course, was not able to locate because they did not try to reach me at the # I was calling from.  She asked again if I received a call from someone and I said, but when I asked for the name of the business again she hung up.  Sounds like a scam

Keep getting this call too, that its about a returned item to my bank that needs imediate attention. No returned items at my bank. Just ignoring the call. It really upsets me that you can't even have a cell 3 now without a bunch of idiots calling it!
