Called but I didn't answer.  Gotta beat these jerks at their own game.

The line doesn't pick up right away.  then a person named Chris comes on and says it's a computerized line and asks if you can hear him.  then he starts the spiel about filling unsold cabins on a cruise line.  if you keep talking over him the line goes dead. today was the 4th time they have call my cell.  Gets really annoying considering I'm paying for them to harass me.

I answered put of curiosity.  There was around two seconds of silence, Then: "This is a supervisor and this call is being recorded, can you hear me OK?".

Me: "No.". And hung up.

There was no initial name of business or nature of call offered.

I have heard of a scam where scanners call and ask a question to get someone to answer "yes".   They then use your voice to apply for whatever over the phone.  I'm not sure how that is successful.  Regardless, don't say yes ever with any unknown callers.
