An unwanted call from this invalid (spoofed) Anaheim number arrived today. When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, just dead space. Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) often spoof their numbers to cover their tracks while trolling the phone lines seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.
This caller has been unmasked as a police charity, many of whom trolling the phone lines are fakes. They often originate in Anaheim from different phone numbers, including (657) 220-9997, (714) 778-2402, (714) 598-3316, (714) 598-4092, and possibly (714) 855-3144, most of which are invalid (spoofed) numbers.
DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM OF THESE TELECRIMINALS. LET YOUR ANSWERING MACHINE TAKE THEIR PATHETIC CALLS.
