I have received about 3-4 calls from this company in the last 7-10 days. They say they are "Discovery Research something something...." I believe they are calling to conduct a survey regarding my last hospital visit to Tri City Regional Medical Center, in Hawaiian Gardens, CA.
My husband answered my phone for me since I'm disabled & wasn't feeling up to talking in the phone at the moment. The caller asked for me. He, my husband, asked who was calling. Recognizing, it was the research company yet again, he told them I wasn't feeling well, & that he was my husband. He asked if there was anything he could do to help. The "researcher" said, "No. I have to speak with her," somewhat curtly. He said, "Well, I'm sorry she's not feeling well, & doesn't care to participate. Thank you. Please don't call again" She continued, even more abruptly now, saying, "Well, I have to hear it from her." My husband, & I both, getting more bothered by her rude tone & shortness, were now both upset. I said, being right never to my husband & hearing her tone (she was on speaker phone), "Ok, I'm not interested. Please don't call back again." My husband then told her, somewhat short himself by now, "There you heard it from her. Don't call back again." She retorted with, "No. I don't know if that was her." He then told her where she could take her research & hung up. We tried calling back their number from caller id, & it's a voice message telling you, with out stating their company name, that they do not fall under the National Do Not Call List laws because they are not telemarketers & that they are not selling something. It then hangs up on you. On precedence alone, I wouldn't give them my time, or my survey if they paid me after tonight's experience. They are so rude, completely unprofessional & even immature. They have no respect for the people they are calling over & over again, regardless if they're disturbing you, your household, dinner or your peace.
