About 4 PM PST, somebody from what they called B & G Construction called and wanted to know if there is any work around the house they could do.  The original call came in as an 888 number.

Got a call this morning - "Franklin" from 'B&G Construction' said we talked a while back and I asked him to try again at a later date (nonsense).  Call came in from 888-888-1111 but a web search found the 714 number and I called them.  The person I spoke to agreed that they were 'B&G Construction' and said they would take me off their in-house do-not-call list - I'm not convinced but we'll see.

I keep getting calls from this number but the original calls came from 714-087-4915; 1-888-963-2545; 714-076-0580.  These are all sales call related to improving energy costs of your home and that they work with Edison Electric.  They call me every day despite the fact that I keep telling them I am not interested and don't even own the home they are calling me about.  Since they will not stop calling me, I went ahead and set up a fake appointment (hey they want to keep wasting my time, I sure as heck don't mind wasting theirs!).  Then I received a confirmation call from Jonathan at 714-392-7902 for the appointment.  I asked the name of the company and was told it was BHK Energy - I did a Google for BHK Energy and came up with nothing.  I do not know who these people are but they are scammers that try very hard to get into your home. Be wary!!!

I received a call today from a woman claiming her husband is a local contractor and she asked what kind of work I'm planning on doing to my home.  She first asked if it was just me or did I have a husband. She wanted to make an appointment for her husband to come out the same day.  When I said I didn't need any work done and that I was busy she pressed me further and wanted to schedule an appointment for the following week to give me an estimate on work that I might want to do in the future. I again told her I was working and asked her for her call back number and her husband's name.  She said his name was "Dennis Johnson" and gave me the 714 number, but the caller ID was 949-211-3636.  Like the other comment, she was trying very hard to get into my home. Seemed fishy.

Another scam targeting the elderly.
B&G Construction scammers called and wanted to d home improvement on ANYTHING. They claimed they are licensed and bonded but wouldn't state their Contractors License Number (second red flag, first is the phone call its self) .

Same lines used as others have reported...Dianne was calling on behalf of her husband whom is a contractor. They already had the name and the correct address which is of elderly persons. Told them to come out and re-do driveway, fence, sprinklers, and mail-box..

Started to get calls follow-up calls from 714-392-7902 which is a Verizon cell phone. Individual wanted to set time and date to come by and give estimate.
